Ingredients

  • 1 shot (1.5 oz) or 3 tbsp espresso or strong brewed coffee
  • 8 oz whole milk
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 0 pinch (optional) cocoa powder or cinnamon

Instructions

    Pour 1.5 oz espresso or very strong coffee into a mug.

    Heat 8 oz milk in a saucepan over medium until steaming, ~3 minutes. Whisk briefly to create light foam.

    Pour hot milk slowly into the espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon.

    Top with a small spoon of foam. Dust with cocoa or cinnamon if desired.
