Ingredients

  • ½ lb pork sausage (bulk or 4 patties)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 count biscuits (refrigerated or frozen)
  • 2 count eggs
  • 2 oz sharp cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 1 to taste salt and black pepper
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce or mustard (optional)

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake biscuits according to package directions, ~12 min.

    Form sausage into 2 patties if using bulk. Heat a 10-inch skillet over medium-high.

    Cook sausage patties 3–4 minutes per side until browned. Transfer to a plate.

    Crack eggs into the same skillet. Cook 2–3 min until whites set but yolks jiggle.

    Season eggs with salt and pepper. Slide onto a plate.

    Split warm biscuits. Spread 0.5 tbsp butter on each bottom half.

    Layer sausage, then cheese, then egg on each biscuit bottom. Top with biscuit.
