Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb beef sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1.5-inch cubes
  • 4 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme sprigs (or 1 tsp dried)

Instructions

    Pat beef dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and black pepper on all sides.

    Whisk garlic, vinegar, Worcestershire, sugar, thyme, 2 tbsp olive oil, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.

    Toss beef with glaze until coated. Spread on a sheet pan in a single layer.

    Broil on high, 6 inches from heat, for 8–10 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until charred and cooked to medium-rare.

    Remove from broiler. Let rest 2 minutes. Drizzle with any pan juices and serve hot.
