Ingredients

  • ¾ lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning mix
  • ¼ cup water
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup tortilla strips or fried tortilla bowl
  • ¾ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup salsa
  • ¼ cup sour cream

Instructions

    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add ground beef and break apart with a spoon.

    Cook beef, stirring occasionally, until no pink remains, about 6 minutes.

    Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer 2 minutes until sauce thickens.

    Divide lettuce between bowls. Top with warm beef mixture.

    Add tortilla strips, cheese, salsa, and a dollop of sour cream. Serve immediately.
