- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 pounds beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced

- 2 stalks green onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
Instructions
- 1
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, ginger, grated pear, and black pepper until sugar dissolves.

Place thinly sliced beef in a large shallow dish or resealable bag and pour marinade over. Massage to coat evenly.
- 3
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Working in batches to avoid crowding, cook marinated beef for 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized and cooked through. Do not overcrowd the pan.
