Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice (warm)
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 3 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 2 stalks green onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1

Divide warm rice between two bowls. Make a shallow well in the center of each.

  2. 2

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Brown ground beef, breaking it into small pieces, until no pink remains, ~5 minutes.

  3. 3

Stir gochujang and soy sauce into beef. Cook 1 minute until fragrant. Divide between bowls on top of rice.

  4. 4

Keep skillet on medium-high. Crack an egg into the pan and fry until whites set but yolks still jiggle, ~3 minutes. Repeat with second egg.

  5. 5

Slide one fried egg onto each bowl. Scatter green onion over the top.

  6. 6

    Stir everything together. Serve immediately.
