  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) canned kidney beans (drained & rinsed)
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green chiles
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 90 seconds.

  2. 2

Brown ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, until no pink remains, about 6 minutes.

  3. 3

Stir in BBQ sauce, beans, tomatoes with green chiles, and beef broth until combined.

  4. 4

Simmer uncovered for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until flavors meld and chili thickens.

  5. 5

Stir in hot sauce if you want extra heat; taste and season with salt and pepper.

  6. 6
