Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb pork shoulder or butt, cubed into 1.5-inch pieces
  • 1 medium onion, quartered into chunks
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp paprika (smoked or sweet)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

    Toss pork cubes with minced garlic, paprika, olive oil, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.

    Thread pork and onion chunks alternately onto metal skewers, starting and ending with pork.

    Heat grill to high. Place skewers on grates and cook 8-10 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes, until charred and cooked through.

    Transfer to a plate. Rest 2 minutes, then serve immediately while still steaming.
