15-Min Baked Apple Turnovers

Ingredients

  • 1 package (thawed if frozen) puff pastry sheets
  • 1 can or jar (~21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 1 whole egg

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

    Cut thawed puff pastry into 4 squares. Spoon 2 tbsp apple filling onto one half of each square.

    Fold pastry in half to form a triangle. Press edges firmly to seal; use a fork to crimp if needed.

    Whisk egg in a small bowl. Brush egg wash over the top and sides of each turnover.

    Bake 10–12 minutes until pastry is deep golden brown and puffed.

    Cool 2 minutes on the pan. Serve warm with coffee.
