Ingredients

  • 12 whole fresh jalapeños
  • 12 whole bacon slices
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softed

Instructions

  1. 1

Slice each jalapeño lengthwise. Scoop out seeds and white ribs with a small spoon.

  2. 2

Fill each jalapeño half with about 1 tsp cream cheese using a small spoon.

  3. 3

Wrap one bacon slice tightly around each filled jalapeño half, tucking the end underneath.

  4. 4

Heat a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until a drop of water sizzles on contact, ~60 seconds.

  5. 5

Arrange jalapeños seam-side down in the skillet without crowding. Cook 5 minutes until bacon crisps.

  6. 6

Flip each jalapeño. Cook 2 minutes more until bacon is golden brown and crispy.

  7. 7

Transfer to a paper-towel-lined plate. Cool 2 minutes before serving.
