Bacon Egg and Cheese Bagel

Ingredients

  • 2 strips bacon strips
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese
  • 1 whole bagel
  • ½ tbsp butter

Instructions

    Cook bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy, about 4 minutes per side.

    Transfer bacon to a paper towel. Crack egg into the same skillet, keeping yolk intact.

    Cook egg until whites are set but yolk still jiggles, 3–4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

    Split and toast the bagel until golden brown, about 2 minutes total in a toaster oven.

    Spread butter on the toasted bagel bottom. Top with bacon, egg, and cheese slice.

    Sandwich the bagel halves together. Serve immediately while cheese is warm.
