Ingredients

  • 3 strips bacon strips
  • 1 whole large eggs
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices bread
  • ½ tablespoon butter
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 0.1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

    Cook bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.

    In the same skillet, melt 0.25 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Crack the egg into the skillet and cook to your preference (sunny-side up, over-easy, or over-medium), about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

    Toast the bread slices until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.

    Butter the inside of the toasted bread slices with remaining butter.

    Assemble sandwich: place cooked bacon on one slice of toast, top with cooked egg, then cheese slice, then remaining toast. Serve immediately.
