Avocado BLT

Ingredients

  • 6 count bacon strips
  • 4 slices bread (white, wheat, or sourdough)
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 count avocado, ripe
  • 1 count tomato, medium
  • 3 leaves lettuce (romaine or butter lettuce)

Instructions

    Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, 5–7 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel.

    Toast bread slices until golden brown and crispy, about 2 minutes per side.

    Spread 1.5 tbsp mayo on two slices of toast. Arrange lettuce, then tomato on top.

    Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and slice into 1/4-inch strips. Layer on tomato.

    Crumble cooled bacon evenly over avocado. Spread remaining mayo on second slice of toast.

    Press toast together. Slice diagonally and serve immediately.
