- ¾ lb pork liver
- ½ lb pork shoulder, ground
- 1 medium onion, finely diced
- 2 slices bread, crusts removed, torn into pieces
- 3 tbsp whole milk
- 6 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley and chives, chopped

Combine bread and milk in a small bowl. Let sit 2 minutes until soft.

Mix liver, ground pork, onion, bread mixture, salt, and pepper in a bowl until just combined.

Bring broth to a boil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Using wet hands, form mixture into 12 golf-ball-sized dumplings.
