Ingredients

  • 8 sheets phyllo sheets (thawed)
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 3 medium apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup raisins

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, and raisins in a bowl.

    Brush a sheet pan lightly with melted butter. Layer 4 phyllo sheets on top, brushing butter between each one.

    Spread apple mixture evenly over phyllo. Top with remaining 4 sheets, brushing butter between layers.

    Brush top phyllo sheet generously with remaining butter. Score the surface into 4 rectangles with a sharp knife.

    Bake 12–14 minutes until phyllo is deep golden brown and edges curl slightly.

    Cool 2 minutes on the pan, then slide onto a wire rack or cutting board. Serve warm.
