Ingredients
- 12 sheets phyllo sheets (thawed)
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 3 medium Granny Smith apples
- 1.5 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 375°F. Place phyllo sheets on a damp towel to stay pliable.
- 2
Peel, core, and dice the apples into 1/4-inch pieces. Toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- 3
Mix cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
- 4
Brush one phyllo sheet lightly with melted butter. Layer 2 more buttered sheets on top.
- 5
Cut the stacked phyllo into 4 squares. Press each into a muffin cup, creating a shell.
- 6
Repeat with remaining phyllo sheets to fill all 12 muffin cups.
- 7
Toss apples with cinnamon mixture. Divide evenly among phyllo cups.
- 8
Bake for 18–20 minutes until phyllo is golden and apples are tender.
- 9
Cool bites in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a serving plate.
