Ingredients

  • 2 whole russet potatoes, medium
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 serving's worth butter, sour cream, shredded cheddar, and fresh chives

Instructions

    Scrub potatoes under running water and pat dry with a paper towel.

    Prick each potato all over with a fork, about 8–10 times per potato.

    Rub potatoes with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

    Place potatoes directly in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F for 22 minutes.

    Pierce the thickest potato with a knife. It should slide through easily when done.

    Carefully remove potatoes and let cool for 2 minutes until safe to handle.

    Cut potatoes in half lengthwise and fluff the insides with a fork.
