Ingredients
- 1 cup coconut water
- ½ cup fresh orange juice
- ⅛ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ tablespoon raw honey
- ½ cup ice cubes
Instructions
- 1
Pour 1 cup of coconut water into a tall glass, making sure the glass is large enough to hold all ingredients plus ice without overflowing.
- 2
Pour 0.5 cup of fresh orange juice into the same glass on top of the coconut water; do not stir yet.
- 3
Add 0.125 teaspoon of sea salt — this is a very small pinch, about the size of a pea — directly into the liquid to help replace electrolytes lost through sweat.
- 4
Add 0.5 tablespoon of raw honey to the glass; stir with a long spoon for about 30 seconds until the honey dissolves completely and the liquid looks uniform in color.
- 5
Add 0.5 cup of ice cubes to the glass and stir once more for 10 seconds to chill the mixture evenly.
- 6
Drink immediately while cold, or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.
