Ingredients

  • 150 g pork belly slices
  • 200 g ramen noodles
  • 240 ml chicken or pork broth
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp dried red chili flakes
  • 2 stalks green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 sheet nori seaweed strips

Instructions

  1. 1

Bring a large pot of water to boil for the noodles.

  2. 2

Cook ramen noodles according to package directions, then drain and set aside.

  3. 3

Heat a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook pork belly slices until crispy and fat is rendered, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.

  4. 4

In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic and chili flakes, cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  5. 5

Pour in broth and soy sauce, simmer for 2 minutes to combine flavors.

  6. 6

Divide cooked noodles between two bowls.

  7. 7

Pour the hot broth-oil mixture evenly over the noodles, then drizzle sesame oil on top.

  8. 8

Top with crispy pork belly, green onions, sesame seeds, and nori strips.

  9. 9

Toss everything together before eating and serve immediately.
