Ingredients

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. 1

Combine flour, cocoa powder, and sugar in a microwave-safe mug. Stir well to break up any lumps.

  2. 2

Add the egg and oil. Stir with a fork until smooth and fully combined, about 20 seconds.

  3. 3

Fold in chocolate chips with a few final strokes — don't overmix.

  4. 4

Microwave on high for 45–60 seconds. Center should be fudgy; the top may still jiggle slightly.

  5. 5

Let cool in the mug for 30 seconds. Serve warm with a spoon directly from the mug.
