Ingredients

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 whole eggs
  • ¼ cup chocolate shavings or chips (dark chocolate, for topping)

Instructions

    Mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt in a microwave-safe mug until no lumps remain.

    Crack the egg into the mug, add melted butter, and stir vigorously until batter is smooth.

    Microwave on high for 60–90 seconds until the top looks set but the center still jiggles slightly.

    Let cool for 30 seconds, then run a knife around the edge and invert onto a plate.
