Ingredients
- ¾ lb ground lamb
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) canned diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 3 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 3 tsp total cumin, cinnamon, and ginger (1 tsp each)
- ½ whole lemon, halved

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high. Add onion, cook 2 minutes until softened.

Add ground lamb, breaking up with a spoon as it browns, until no pink remains, ~5 minutes.

Stir in cumin, cinnamon, and ginger. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add tomatoes (with their liquid), chickpeas, and broth. Bring to a simmer.
