Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 8 oz lasagna noodles
  • ¾ cup ricotta cheese
  • 1.5 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 whole egg

Instructions

  1. 1

Boil lasagna noodles in salted water until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking up with a spoon, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.

  3. 3

Stir marinara sauce into beef and simmer 2 minutes. Turn heat to low and spread mixture across the skillet.

  4. 4

Whisk ricotta, egg, half the mozzarella, and parmesan in a bowl until smooth.

  5. 5

Break cooked noodles into bite-sized pieces and stir into the beef sauce until evenly coated.

  6. 6

Drop ricotta mixture by spoonfuls over the top, then scatter remaining mozzarella over everything. Cover and cook on low until cheese melts, about 3 minutes. Serve hot.
