Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz lasagna noodles
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

    Break lasagna noodles into rough 2-inch pieces. Brown ground beef in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high, breaking up with a spoon, about 5 minutes until no pink remains.

    Stir in marinara sauce and broken noodles. Add 1 cup water, bring to a simmer, cover, and cook 6 minutes until noodles are tender.

    Dollop ricotta over the top in spoonfuls. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan evenly across the surface.

    Cover and cook 2 more minutes until cheese melts and surface looks glossy. Remove from heat and let sit 1 minute.
