Ingredients
- 1 loaf store-bought pound cake
- 2 cups heavy cream, cold
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 6 drops per color food coloring (gel or liquid)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp sprinkles

Slice the pound cake into 6 thin, even layers using a serrated knife.

Pour cold cream into a chilled bowl. Whip with an electric mixer on high until soft peaks form, about 2 minutes.

Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Whip until stiff peaks form, about 1 minute more.

Divide frosting into 6 small bowls. Add one food-coloring drop to each and stir until colors are uniform.

Spread one color of frosting onto the first cake layer. Stack the next layer on top and repeat with each color.

Frost the top and sides of the stack with any remaining frosting. Sprinkle the top and serve chilled or at room temperature.
