Ingredients
- 1 whole cake (8–10 oz) store-bought chocolate cake (unfrosted)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 cup (drained) canned or fresh cherries in syrup
- 100 g dark chocolate bar
- 2 tbsp kirsch or cherry liqueur (optional)

Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form, about 2 minutes.
