Ingredients

  • 12 oz ground beef
  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 3 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 8 oz rice noodles or egg noodles
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro and scallions, chopped
  • 1 lime lime wedges

Instructions

    Bring broth to a boil in a large pot over high heat.

    Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook, stirring occasionally, until no pink remains, ~3 minutes.

    Stir in dark soy sauce and fish sauce. Taste and adjust salt.

    Add noodles and cook until tender, ~4 minutes for dried rice noodles or 2 for egg noodles.
