Ingredients

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

    Combine flour and cocoa powder in a microwave-safe mug. Stir to blend.

    Add butter and chopped chocolate to the mug. Microwave 45 seconds until melted and glossy.

    Stir in sugar and egg until smooth, no lumps visible.

    Microwave 2 to 2.5 minutes until the top looks barely set but the center jiggles slightly when tapped.

    Let cool 1 minute. The residual heat will finish cooking the center while keeping it liquid.
