Ingredients
- 3 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 whole large egg
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 sheets phyllo sheets, crumpled
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- ½ tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
- 1
Melt chocolate and butter together in a microwave-safe mug, 45 seconds at a time, stirring between pulses until smooth.
- 2
Stir in sugar and egg until fully combined. Fold in flour until just incorporated—a few streaks are fine.
- 3
Microwave the filled mug for 60–75 seconds. The edges will be set; the center should jiggle slightly.
- 4
Crumple phyllo into small shards and place on a small baking sheet. Bake at 375°F for 3–4 minutes until golden and crisp.
- 5
Slide the cake onto a plate. Top with phyllo shards and dust with powdered sugar mixed with cocoa powder.
- 6
Serve immediately while the center is still warm and gooey.
